If you correspond with us via email, we may keep your message and contact information so we can respond to your request and/or prioritize improvements to the application or website.
When you register for updates via our website, we may keep your email address and contact information so we can provide you email updates.
When you set up an email account on your device, the application will store your email address and password only on your device. Your information will be encrypted and only used to access your account(s) on our application.
The App uses both proprietary and open source IMAP libraries in addition to some proprietary code in order to connect to your IMAP accounts and Exchange accounts. To connect the App to your Third Party Accounts, you need to provide Crono with your email address and password (?Access Credentials?). We store your Access Credentials on our server using 256-bit AES encryption. We do not share your Access Credentials shared with anyone.
Crono does not store any emails on our servers; all emails are downloaded and stored locally on your device.
The App uses Flurry analytics to gather anonymous usage data, demographic data, acquisition data, device information, OS information, and user events. (?Usage Data?).
We also collect email related information about how you interacted with message, such as when you open a particular message or if you delete it, along with the domains of emails received by you. This data is anonymized so that we do not link it with you personally, we just know that a user (Jane Doe) received an email from Microsoft.com, opened it and then deleted it. This type of anonymized Usage Data is referred to as ?Receipt Data?.
We do track mobile device identifier and mobile device IP address in order to enable Advertisers to deliver relevant content in emails based on location (?Location Data?). We do not collect not collect precise location information. Location information is based on the location of your IP address and ISP; not on GPS or precise location.
We also collect data on specific header contents, mobile advertiser ID?s, and data related to our dynamic ad capabilities (?First Party Ad Data?). In addition, certain third party advertisers that display advertisements within our App do collect certain non-personally identifiable information in order to display banner ads within the App. These companies do track some data for the purpose of serving ads. (?Third Party Ad Data?). Neither First Party Ad Data nor Third Party Ad data is tracked or used for any other purposes Neither First Party Ad Data nor Third Party Ad data is used.
The App includes a feature that enables you to add email addresses from your Contact Information. If you choose to use this feature, the App accesses the contact information in your Contacts to identify the right email address, however, this information is not exported from your device. The App also includes a feature that enables you to send an email to Crono. If you choose to use this feature, the App accesses the default email account you already have set up on your device.
The App includes a feature that allows you to add a profile picture using an image from your device?s camera roll. If you choose to use this feature, the App will obtain your consent prior to accessing your camera roll.
USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
You grant Crono an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free right and license to use any Usage Data to enhance its products and services and to develop new products and services. You also grant Crono an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free right and license to share your anonymized Receipt Data with third party advertisers and email marketers.
You also agree that Crono may share First Party Ad Data and Usage Data with affiliates and related companies of Crono and to third parties providing services on behalf of Crono.
You give Crono your express consent to use your Location Information to deliver relevant., targeted advertising content to you, including by combining it with Third Party Ad Data.
Finally, you agree that Crono may transfer all information it has collected in the event of a sale, merger, dissolution, bankruptcy, corporate reformation or other corporate restructuring, or in the event that Crono sells, assigns, or transfers substantially all of its rights in the App.
Crono may also disclose any information you provide or it collects as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, or when Crono believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Crono does not have any access to any of the personal information or credit card information that you have provided to Apple or Google in order to register for their services. You should be familiar with the privacy practices of both Apple and Google before providing such information.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected] We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Crono takes commercially reasonable steps to help protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, or disclosure. However, you agree that by using the App to connect your Device to a Third Party Platform, you are choosing to transmit audio and/or images. You further agree that Crono has no control over, and does not examine, review, access, record, or store, any communication transmitted by you or any other participant via a Third Party Platform You agree to defend, indemnify, release, discharges and hold harmless Crono, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates and suppliers from and against any and all claims and demands including but not limited to, any claims for copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy or right of publicity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App to transmit such content, images and/or audio. CRONO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ENSURING, GUARANTEEING OR OTHERWISE OFFERING ANY DEFINITIVE PROMISE OF SECURITY IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR INFORMATION.
EU SAFE HARBOR REGISTRATION
Crono complies with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of Personal Information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Crono has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. If you feel that Crono has mishandled your Personal Information in violation of the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles, please contact Crono through its Customer Care Department with a written description of your complaint. After receiving such written description, a representative from Crono’s Customer Care Department will contact you to set up a time and manner to discuss your complaint. Crono is dedicated to addressing all legitimate complaints about its adherence to this Policy and the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles and will make a good faith effort to engage in communications to address such complaints. For unresolved complaints under the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles, Crono has agreed to participate in the BBB EU Safe Harbor Dispute Resolution Program operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
